Whoopi Goldberg in video message to Budapest's Gay Priders
Budapest - Whoopi Goldberg sent a video message of support to people taking part in Budapest's 14th Gay Pride Festival.

Goldberg said she had been following the Budapest event -- and its accompanying expressions of intolerance and violence -- for several years.
"I believe that we are all different and even so we desire the same: freedom, respect, love and peace," Goldberg said in her video message.
She added that not everyone must agree with the gay parade, "but every citizen of democratic Hungary should agree to firmly reject violence against each other."
Goldberg said that she was proud that homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals openly undertook their identity.
Goldberg was joined by 13 embassies in supporting Hungary's gay community. Australia, Canada, Czech Rep, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, UK, and US all pledged their support.
